Strokkur

Strokkur is one of Iceland's most famous geysers. It's located in a geothermal area beside the Hvítá River and erupts once every 6–10 minutes. Its usual height is 15–20 m, although it can sometimes erupt up to 40 m high.

Jökulsárlón

Panoramic view of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Jökulsárlón Lagoon is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajökull Glacier. It is now 1.5 kilometres large from the ocean's edge and covers an area of about 18 km2 . The icebergs that calve from the glacier edge move towards the lagoon until the river mouth and reach the sea. The movement of the icebergs depends on the tides and the wind. These icebergs are seen in two shades: milky white and bright blue, which depends on the air trapped within the ice and is an interplay of light and ice crystals.

Morning Gift

Photographers at Diamond Beach at sunrise. This beach is nearby Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, that belongs to the Vatnajökull glacier national park. As the blocks of ice are constantly breaking from the glacier, the icebergs float in the lagoon, until reach the beach.

Gullfoss

Gullfoss is one of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland. River Hvítá flows abruptly into a crevice 32 metres deep. The crevice is about 20 metres wide and 2.5 kilometres in length, and extends perpendicular to the flow of the river. As one first approaches the falls, the edge is obscured from view, so that it appears that the river simply vanishes into the earth.

The blue waterfall

This unbeliveble blue waterfall is a little waterfall called Brúarfoss, placed in the heart of the Golden Circle. The name means Bridge Waterfall, and it derives from a natural stone arch over the river near the waterfall than doesn't exist anymore.
